As a UK-qualified lawyer with a diverse background in law, philanthropy and technology, I help businesses and nonprofits drive meaningful, mission-aligned change. My experience spans strategic planning, legal and operational advising, and advocacy. I’ve supported nonprofits with governance and compliance, developed grantmaking criteria, evaluated proposals, and guided organizations through digital transformation as a Salesforce consultant. Having worked across both the nonprofit and corporate sectors, I bring a well-rounded perspective on funding, technology and strategic growth.

Alongside my professional work, I’ve spent over 20 years volunteering and serving on nonprofit boards across the UK, Europe and BC. This hands-on experience gives me a deep understanding of the challenges nonprofits face — and the opportunities they can seize.

A pivotal moment came during my second maternity leave when I reflected on how I could align my career with my passion for driving positive change. Recognizing the challenges faced by rural organizations, particularly where I am based in the Kootenays, BC, I committed to using my expertise to bridge those gaps and support mission-driven initiatives.
